Our Story

The Sunshine Coast Revival Fellowship is part of a worldwide group of people from all races, walks of life, age groups and social backgrounds that share a common experience through belief in the Bible being the inspired Word of God.

As the name of our fellowship suggests, we stand for revival - revival of people's lives through the revival of the Bible's salvation message.

Just like early followers of Jesus and other Bible believing Christians since Pentecost, folk in the Sunshine Coast Revival Fellowship have a story to tell.

Our aim is to share our stories – the stories of people who have been “born again”, experienced a fresh start; who have been healed by the power of God and whose lives have been changed

Our vision is simply to preach the full Gospel of Jesus Christ with the expectation of the Bible-specified 'signs following', as described in Mark 16:15-20. In doing so, we seek to make known the full benefits of salvation to people all around the globe.

Origins of Revival Fellowship

In Australia, a major Pentecostal movement began just after the Second World War, with a number of new churches emerging. The Revival Fellowship came out of that revival in the late 1940's, bringing a fresh understanding of the need for salvation by grace, the anointing of the Holy Spirit, and the importance of Bible prophecy.

The Revival Fellowship fellowships have spread from Australia throughout the rest of the world - Europe, NZ, North and South America, Asia, Africa, and many Pacific Nations.

Sunshine Coast Church

Here on the Sunshine Coast our church started in 1977. God confirmed the ministry with 'signs following' - many remarkable healings, men and women were also filled with the Holy Spirit, speaking in tongues as described by the Bible and as occurred during all the great revivals down through the ages.

Our first meetings were held in Maroochydore but as the church grew we moved into our current building in Forest Glen.

There continues to be a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit in these last days, and we on the Sunshine Coast are excited to be part of this 'last days' harvest.

‘“And my speech and my preaching was not in enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power….”’ 1 Corinthians 2:5 KJV
